＜SYNOPSIS＞
慣れない東京での一人暮らしで、心を閉ざし気味になった女子大生の美咲は、春休みを利用して一年ぶりに福島県に帰郷する。しかし突然帰ってきた美咲を母は迎え入れず、家にも入れてくれない。友達もつかまらず泊まる場所もなくなり困った美咲は、住み込みの短期アルバイト募集を見つけ、ペンション「木洩れ日」を訪れる。そこから、優しくて頼りがいのあるパートの絹代と、何故かずっと塞ぎ込んでいる経営者の吾郎との奇妙な共同生活がはじまる。
家族の絆を失いつつある美咲、深い闇を背負う吾郎、二人の運命は少しずつ揺れ動いていく. . . . 。

<SYNOPSIS>
Misaki, a college student who has grown withdrawn while living alone in Tokyo, returns to her hometown in Fukushima for the first time in a year during spring break. However, her mother refuses to welcome her back, even denying her entry into the house. Unable to reach any friends and with nowhere to stay, Misaki finds herself stranded.
In desperation, she comes across a live-in short-term job listing and visits a small guesthouse called Komorebi. There, she begins an unusual shared life with Kinuyo, a kind and dependable part-time worker, and Goro, the owner, who remains inexplicably withdrawn.
As Misaki, on the verge of losing her connection to family, and Goro, burdened by a deep and unspoken darkness, spend time together, their fates begin to quietly and inevitably shift.
