A documentary about a young caretaker of the historic Gorin Church on Hisaka Island in the Goto Islands, Nagasaki.
Formerly a ground crew member at Haneda Airport, he left the aviation industry and moved to a remote island to protect a World Heritage site connected to the history of hidden Christians.
The film quietly observes his search for a role within the community and its memory.
